would be great for the future to add different baits and different chances of catching fisch with them - pikes will most like be very uninterested in a worm - but a baitfish would attract them pretty well - so for pike you should catch sardines first for example to increase your chances to catch a pike

Yes - already was thinking about this :D - I will likely add roach / perch to Land waters and have those be used as bait for Pike for instance

First of all: Thank you for this. I love you. Fishing was basically my entire endgame fantasy throughout the entire DayZ SA history.

Although the old fishing was broken in a way, since you could spamcheck your bait, i feel like you could try getting a similar "minigame" into the mod instead of having a fish appear after a set timer. Maybe have fish appear only at a chance depending on the fishing rod used and the hook used (Improvised or the real thing).

Would it be possible to make a sort of quick time event whenever a fish bites your bait or is that too much of a husstle? I don't know if you have added that yet but escaping fish could take the hook with them.

Thanks man! Im not sure I have the skills to add a minigame with pull, etc... maybe in future! at present there is a chance the fish will take the bait+hook on catch or no catch

- smoking the fish?
- more types of rare fish, we can use together with trader mod for selling at high price, new way of making money
- spear fishing

Hi! We was waiting for fishing to come back for ages. Thank you very very very much!!! Another thing that would be great to return to the game is rabit trap with the ability to catch rabits, skin them, cook and eat. And if you can add new textures, than it can catch not only rabbits, but all kind of small animals. But even only rabbit for now would be great. Thank you!

Hi, thanks! Im already working on the rabbit traps but there are some hurdles as the rabbit model is no longer in the game for instance...

Hi, thanks! Im already working on the rabbit traps but there are some hurdles as the rabbit model is no longer in the game for instance...
