Is there some way to pick a landing site at a bandit camp or found lump of resources?

Drop in centre often destroys the mining material and gets the ship destroyed in faction bases, but land at edge often results in enemy reinforcements spawning on the ship and destroying it.

Is there some way to pick a site on these locations like you can at your own settlements or not?
