Bugs!
Post any bugs you find here!
Please include:
  • How you triggered the error
  • The error itself (copied from console/description of incorrect behaviour)
  • Any newly added addons (if relevant)

Are you sure this is BetterChat? I don't see why it would be. Try Unsubscribing from just BetterChat and check if the problem persists

If I try to say something using the console it causes a LUA error on the clients, probably because your code don't expect anyone who can say something to not have a steam-ID (not sure).

Yeah that SteamID error happens when bots are present. I'd add a bot check.

Fixed the bug for console messages, Ill look into this bot thing some other time

After the player leaves the server it is impossible to copy SteamID and gives an error >0<

How are you copying the steamID? Right clicking in the chat or on the side panel?

[Bug] hook.Add(OnPlayerChat" hook swallowed and not released.
{Expected Result} "OnPlayerChat" within cl_script is called when chat event is fired.
{Current Result} "OnPlayerChat" within cl_script not called when chat event is fired. Meaning no chat related code is executed from hook.

Odd, can't seem to recreate. Could you give some details on what machine you're running, and what addons you have?
