TFAR radios stop working when I attack an outpost with radio towers

As above, TFAR radios stop working when I get close to the outpost. Is this a feature? If so can I disable? I’m new to both TFAR and Antistasi so not sure what’s causing it.

It is a feature that is not easily disabled, the radio tower acts as a jammer and reduces the effectiveness of your radios to near zero when close.
