Pyrovision-like "Spookyvision?"

Over at the Steam Powered User Forums and other places in the tf2 community, a lot of people complain about halloween items being restricted. A commonly-suggested solution is "spooky vision," where only people wearing pyrovision-esque goggles or wearing halloween items can see them, but if you have the right items you can see them year-round. This is just the right model for the Spookyvision goggles, and why not call it Fright Vision? I can totally see that working in TF2.

I totally agree with this idea but the problem is that Pyrovision is one of the kind, ununsual. I don't know if Valve will like this idea.

You make an excellent point. I could see them abstaining from this idea in fear of a potential addiction to Everything-Vision, where instead of actually developing new ideas, they just put fun goggles on everything.

Plus it really detracts from the established character of the Pyro and his vision if he's just another wacky character, rather than THE wacky character. Might make pyrovision feel much less genuine.

Those points aside, I'd really love the idea. And I did initially upon looking at them and considering the proposal.

Idea is good, but think about consequences, especially in prices and whole TF2 trade. Im tired of high prices on everything, like these new strangefiers and strange hats. It's pointless. Think about it.
