Mutation settings
In the example config is a big chunk about mutation. Does it differ from the vanilla game and is it safe to delete it?

I use this mod basically to render the Spore Chid harmless and want everything else as original as possible.

That section is just the base game properties extracted. You can safely empty that list. Just make sure you have valid json format. Like so
