BE .. a Little helpful in the description of what is going on.
Im running it in SP on Blackwood
I noticed that I can lay down a section of city foundations and then "demolish" OR "pickup" just one block (doesn't matter if on an end or in the center of a section) - but lose one to a few blocks. They don't have to be connected blocks to the section that was removed - and don't have to be close by either.
Example: I put down a line of city foundations in an "L" shape - and another "L" that was not connected to the previous one (also quite a bit of distance away, maybe 8 city foundation blocks away). When I remove one block on one L section, I noticed several blocks from the other L section were missing (couple from the end, and couple from the center).
The only pattern I have noticed is that the __last few blocks laid down prior to the block that's removed__ are the ones that disappear when I remove that single block. Again, they don't even have to be attached pieces! Same thing happens if I demolish/pickup a large city wall - foundations and any wall attached will disappear. Not as in visually - but from the world all together.
Almost as if a random block takes a parent role to subsequent blocks, and if one is removed - they all go bye-bye. *shrug*
I hope that's a good enough description to help narrow down the bug. :-) Still love the mod!
installed from steam, loaded the game, waited until it said "installing mod" was complete, made sure it was still in my list of active mods before loading in, but it still took all of the mod related assets out of the game and i can no longer craft them.
anyone know how to fix this?
It seems rather random, but I am guessing it's a numerical error causing it possibly?
its been an ongoing thing since the dawn of Atlas. they havent fixed it. its not the devs of Atlas. its the dev from the mod. he doesnt think theres anything wrong which is why i stopped using it on my server. the dev for the mod doesnt take feedback and bans you from his discord if you dont like the fact that he refuses to fix his mods.
I am hosting a dedicated server privately on my own server hardware. Been running it since shortly after the game launched in EA.
I am also looking for any overrides available to use in the .ini that allows changing the number of automated structures allowed per grid.
Only 2 fishing huts per grid is definitely lower than I wish to allow on my server.
Being able to change this would be nice.
lmfao, 7 months after the topic was started we finally hear from the dev....impressive lmfao.
sorry to busrt your bubble but i was banned from your channel after my posts were deleted cuz you didnt like what i had to say, and i spoke out about it. here you cant ban me or anything for facts. if anyone wants the screenshots, im happy to give it to them.
the work around is fixing it since it is a MAJOR flaw in your mod. make building near impossible when i was working around 25+ of the city foundation tiles.
