So, I've been using CW 2.0 for a while now, but I noticed a ton of servers don't use it. Instead, they use this mod.
Why?

I personally just like White Snow's Sci Fi PDW, which has several neat features like a built in grenade launcher that can also use smoke bombs and shotgun shells.

I've also seen a similar thread in the CW 2.0 discussions, but it was obviously a little one sided.
However, the majority of people said that CW 2.0 had more options and wasn't as bare bones as FA:S.

I haven't used FA:S yet, as I'm currently in a place where I cannot use GMod, so I figured I'd ask.
