Should I add additional temporary spells to keep followers from dying?

I can add a second spell that would keep followers (and only followers) from dying, removing the worry of them losing items. Would anyone want this?

Great idea. That's the main problem I have with having followers, especially in long coridors when I'm playing as an archer
