I was running this mod along-side "Hunting In Skyrim" and all of the "HuntingBalanced" mods and for some reason this caused my bow to be super glitchy (even the first bow you can get in the game) Like you can draw your arrow all the way back and let go, but when you do there is like a 50% chance you arrow will just fall like you just tapped the fire key instead of holding it back. I have the resilient dragons mod on and because of this issue I couldnt kill the first dragon you kill in the game at the watch tower outside whiterun... (I had 100 iron arrows)

Now that I link about it I'm also using Recurve Long Bow mod which adds new bows to the game that it could have also be in conflict with

thanks for posting, i will look into this.

As for the Recurve Long Bow mod, adding new bows shouldn´t be a problem at all (at least nothing serious, worst case is that my mod isn´t working with the bows but that's all that can happen)

Hah, i just noticed that i messed with gravity of Iron Arrow for the glass bows and forgot to change it back to default.

So if you used a Glass Bow (maybe one of the "Recurve Long Bow" mod or hunter mod is tagged with Glass even if it does not look like glass) and an Iron arrow it would get a huge gravity impact midair.

I updated my mod. Please post again if it fixed the issue or not.

yo, not sure if it's your mod or what.. i was shooting from horseback and the arrows were flying way off course of where the HUD aimer was.. like it would be 3 feet above target stairght above or up and to the right at around 50 meters distance.(i'm using dwarven bow) haven't seen if it does it with others

Hi Rockmonstr,

I just tested shooting from horseback. Since i had no horse near me i just summoned arvak, but i guess a horse is a horse :D
Used a dwarven bow and i have minimal off-strays when shooting straight ahead (me pointing the same direction as the horse) and a bit more off-strays when shooting from a different angle and a naturally huge off-stray when in the deadzone (where only the crosshair is moving but the character cant spin around more).
I disabled my mod afterwards and couldn´t notice a difference (same minimal, bit more and huge off-strays as before).

Note that arrows will always fly a bit higher than the crosshair if they got high speed (i believe this is caused by the automatic aim correction, or it is simply something else in the game engine).

Please try to disable my mod (you won't lose anything) and do the same shots on horseback as you did before. Enable my mod afterwards again and see if it is really caused by it.
If it really is caused by my mod, i will look into it (post the arrow you used too if that is the case plz, maybe i missed something on a specific arrow, but i doubt it) but i got no errors on my site, so i don´t know exactly what might cause it.

Great mod, but I seem to be having a problem with losing my arrows when louting animals and can pick them up off the ground sense I sub'd to your mod. I am having no trouble with human targets, I get arrows back from them. I have Hunting in Skyrim - A Hunting Guild mod and a few other Ranger/Hunter mods that worked fine together before this install, I think maybe one of them is conflicting? I think it might be Hunting in Skyrim, but not sure? The Hunting in Skyrim makes changes to the skinning system, that might be the where the confict happens, but it does nothing to the arrow that would hit around the animals or peoples targets they are just lost or unable to be picked up. Thanks you for the work on the mod, I real do like it.

Hi, thanks for the feedback :)

I´ll look into this when i got the time, my best guess at the moment would be the skinning system of HiS too.

Should my mod be loaded before the other hunting mods, try to put it at the very bottom so it loads last. (though i doubt that is the issue, you can never know :>)

i'm having problem deactivating this mod even if i deactivate all the others first. I tried leaving the mod activated Alone, saving and then tryimg to deactivate it but nothing, i tried the same leaving only you mod an Dawnguard activated too without results. Please look if you can do something

Where exactly lies the problem? what happens when you deactivate my mod?

What should change after deactivating it:
Arrow speed should be the same for all bows.

Is this not the case for you?

no if i deactivate it the game doesn't load my savegame i can only create an new one

I just tested it. It did state that some game content is no longer available.... 'Tis something you can just ignore and press "load anyway" (or something like that).

Or is that not the message you get (which would seem strange to me)?

yes i get that message and i press load anyway, and then ,when it is loading, it crashes

I have the same problem as Kira, I can't disable the mod without the game crashing.

edit: maybe can be fixed same way as in comments:
"Fixed this issue with reinstalling mod. Used UNEQUIPALL command, droped all of the bows, crossbows arrows and bolts and went to other location. Turned off mod, loaded, picked up my staff and reinstall it"
