Kings Tower Feedback
Hey guys, so I have seen a lot of confusion surrounding the Kings Tower mission, I fully admit it ended up not being executed as I imagined. Therefore I'd like some feedback from people that managed to beat it, and others who feel like they had to give up due to the confusion.

So far, myself and Hawk have discussed the map a bit, and I feel a few changes would help, plus any kind of feedback yall can offer.

1. Break the "no communication possible" outlook for the entire mission and allow Hoover to PM you.

2. Remove the whole bio scan door, and allow you to directly confront Bogie, to include voice acting.

What else could improve the experience?

To spice things a little maybe some enemy guards on hotel? :)

I really liked the whole "ghost hotel" ambiance you had going for that level, so I don't think adding too much that detracts from the experience is necessary - that being said, since the notes throughout the level do reference staff coming in to move stuff out, maybe have some dead, burnt bodies placed by the security robots, and a couple of hostile WC holdouts in the security office. You could even change the notes to indicate that they damaged the connection to the robots, instead of the security chief (they were trying to disable them and broke something important instead?).

There was a point of confusion where I picked up the key for the hotel rooms and didn't realize it affected ALL of them - I used up a few lockpicks before I realized my error. You could change the name to "KT Hotel Room Master Key", or add a note indicating what the key actually did, for example.

The writing definitely hypes Bogie up to be a type of "final boss", so adjusting that would be a good idea. I can see it going similarly to the "puzzle" battle in the Goat Templae, where you had to turn the four valves before the boss would die for good - in this case, getting the boss to chase you into the room with the concentrated nanovirus and locking them in there, before going to the computer and giving the command to overload it (or something) which cancels his respawning ability and lets you kill him for good. Just a thought.

I didn't have any problems with it, it blended right in with the existing content in the area and was pretty straightforward.

Room key changes suggestion.

I implemented this, and also made a notation of it in the book near the entrance of the level. A simple but big change in the right direction.

The old text was literally just "Hotel Room Key" lol, that's entirely too vague.
