i feel like a good ability for asriel is if he goes insane he transforms into 'the god of hyperdeath' in a way,
with the downside being asriel sees more shadow monsters when insane

I might not be able to do that only because of the lack of items I currently have. I am OK with LUA luckily and most of the programming is easy. I love the idea by the way, but for now I am only doing things he will say about things and stats.
Asriel is a kid so maybe have it so that picking flowers increases sanity by double the normal. Which I think will make it 10 instead of 5. Otherwise it's 20 instead of 10.

When Asriel died he became Flowey this could be something that happens when Asriel is killed but Flowy doesn't have much health or sanity but attack could be stronger the problem could be your going to have to use that attack to your advantage because everything would now hate you and attack you in Flowey form

This is already being worked on. I am adding this after I figure out a current scripting bug.

I don't fully understand the idea but still thank you! I don't think I will be adding anything to complex as I don't want to ruin the mod for people who like it the way it is. Also speaking I am only a basic level coder.

1. Let him gain 50% more sanity from garlands, Give him a SMALL boost to movement speed while gaining sanity in any way. Give him some sort of self-craftable sanity and health regaining item. I say you let him turn 12 petals and 5 gold into a golden flower crown, which counts as a garland, restores the same amount of sanity as a garland, and also restores 2 health every 4 seconds. Passive health regen. Just a recommendation! I think he needs some sort of team-oriented upsides to balance out his sanity-based downsides. (sorry if this is a lot of stuff)
Hello, I like the idea! The item type creations are not currently possible as I have no artist to help with the creation, and I am only a basic coder. A few things here will be worked on! Also, Health and Sanity were both increased, Hunger never changed from the starting number. Friend me on steam if you want to talk about this more!
I think what could be good is that when you kill a monster (after I do not know if it's possible) but a chance that drops a soul until you have 7 you could have transformed in god of hyperdeath BUT the constraint would be that it could not be healed, will not be able to regain santer mental even to lose is the food gives back 2 times less basic.
So we would need a gauge that would be the remaining time of the transformed

There are no worries the most important thing is that you like to be moderate is not to be forced to do everything that says the other you do not like

One Idea I had in thought is that you can add Chaos Sabers having similar stats to glass cutter but should have those lightning attacks from the God Form fight in undertale with a few debuffs like lightning cost sanity and/or complex crafting recipe :)
