Q: What do you mean by Lines/Variations?
A: A line a dialogue sentence. A single character can only say one line at a time and they will show up as separate entries in the in-game logs.

Everytime a character says a line that line can have a number of variations for the character to choose from!


Q:Will you be working on X Faction/Character?
A:Most likely! Please see here [docs.google.com] for my current plans and you can suggest Factions/Characters in the relevent discussion!

Q: Is this mod compatible with other dialogue mods such as DialoguePlus+ and Hippity Hoppity?
A: Yes it is compatible! I work closely with the creator of DialoguePlus+ and I am the creator of Hippity Hoppity.

Q: I encountered a mistake/bug in some dialogue, can you fix it?
A: There is a discussion for reporting mistakes and bugs. If the mistake is vanilla or my own I will still of course fix it! If it's another mod I will try to contact the mod creator for you. You can also contact me via Reddit (/u/Rustledstardust) or the community discord (Rustledjimm#9731).
However there is a format in the reporting discussion that I'd like you to please try to use.

Q. What the hell do you mean by Dialogue Line and Dialogue Variations?

Let me explain! Let's use this Beep dialogue pictured in the link below to show you.

As you can see in the above dialogue in FCS where Beep meets a fellow skeleton there are 3 lines of dialogue! FCS says their are 4 because it counts the trigger as a line (I do not). When the trigger happens it can then proceed onto the "Beep" line or the "Ho, fellow skeleton!" line. If it goes onto the "Ho, fellow skeleton!" line it will choose randomly from the 4 variations you see on the right for Beep to say. That is what I mean by lines and variations. I hope this explains it well enough.

So is it compatible or not? You've made efforts to do so but presently is it compatible with DialoguePlus?

Yes it is compatible, I have tested it myself. Sorry it wasn't more clear I will update that.

There are no plans to merge this with hippity hoppity. That will continue being updated with amusing, funny dialogue while this is going to be a more serious, broad affair. They will work together however!

It's compatible with Let's Talk.

The next update is being worked on. As I said in comments I had to return to my families home country to sort stuff out over the summer so unfortunately that really pushed things back.

The next update will most likely again include an update to 2 factions and more unique shopping dialogue. I also have thoughts on a few characters I want to add unique lines and possible recruitment paths too (ones that are more lore friendly than sticking them in a cage and talking to them).

I was trying to find a way to communicate, so sent a friend request, feel free to ignore, or not.

I saw your mod at Nexus (I have GOG Kenshi) but it is only 2019 version, any chance you can update your Nexus mods? I know the mods do not get as much 'attention' there, or feedback, but there is a significant non-steam Kenshi community that needs your modding love as well. So please consider, thank you.

PS: if you don't want the extra hassle, consider letting me do so in your name after ensuring my bona fides. :)
