Report a translation problem
You would want to add an option to transfer the resource to an indoor storage building (Maybe a button on the resource that temporarily sets the storage amount to 0 so that villagers try to unload it).
Straw would rot, logs would be eaten by ants and termites, Iron might rust, etc.
Some resources would be unaffected, stone can sit out forever, etc.
I'm really sorry but it can't be done. Not with the way game was originally programmed.
