As for me, I think there's room for both. I never understood the mindset of shooting down tennogens because you (not you specifically) personally wouldn't buy it for a reason like that. there's obviously a large group of people that want something that looks totally different on their frame, or something that looks the same but enhanced in some way.
with this skin in particular, I see a skin and helmet that creatively utilizes Mesa's framework to create something new and different. It makes Mesa look like a Solaris, which is an interesting way to make an addition to the Corpa collection of skins. it looks aesthetically pleasing, colors well, and doesn't contrast with the graphical style of warframe. Perfect for someone that likes Mesa, but doesn't like the cowboy theme. I see no reason for this not to be added.
good on you though for staying neutral though. I see a lot of people vote for things not to be in the game because of petty things like "this doesn't match the theme"
