How do you have NPCs move in to your settlement?
Title! So a couple of questions:

- How do I have NPCs start moving in to my newly made settlement?
- How do I have them set up shop somewhere, e.g. define where they'll be standing as they sell their stuff?
- Is it possible to have them sleep on a certain bed?
- Is it possible to have some random citizens that just populate my settlement that does nothing?

Thanks in advance for the answer!

For #1 and #2'd recommend watching the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2q2OxWj6Y7I
1:15 for inviting folks, 1:45 for where they'll hang out (majority of the time)
#3: Yes, a bed in their "area" from #2 is where they'll prefer to sleep
#4: Yep, that's the default unless you assign them some duty with a token

Thank you very much! As far as tokens would go, like the Warden token, are they obtainable via the corresponding NPC, e.g. if it's a Warden token, a village/settlement warden would sell it? Are they randomly sold by these NPCs?

EDIT: Is there a tool to remove the pre-generated things in the area, e.g. walls, or would I have to break them down manually?

Right, not always, but's much more likely.

There's an option under the Hearthpyre category labeled "Cheat: Allow demolition of any object.", that'll do what you ask if ya don't value breaking them yourself.

There's no safety checks at all with that on so you could shove yourself or a companion into the trash compactor pretty easily.

Very much appreciated! I guess I'll just put my character on the corner of the map so I don't accidentally delete myself.
