Windmill 1.0.3 [0.7]

It doesn't work for me. (So far.)
I have completed the supports, ect of the first level and the second level has ghosted in but I cannot seem to be able to start building the second level. When I left click a ghost of a block instead of bringing up the skeleton of the blocks to be built the game tells me "Not enough components to construct this block".

Is this happening to anyone else?

Has anyone completed this blueprint?

I am currently facing the same issue, the problem is there is no indicator which base components are required in order start a layer of a blueprint

Yeah, that is what I have determined. It doesn't seem to be a problem with the blueprint but a problem that the game gives you no clue about components as you said.

I finally got the second layer finished but now cannot get the third layer to initiate.

Well, finally I finished it. It was not easy. The hardest part is figuring out the Bill Of Material for each layer. It seems you have to have all the items in your personal inventory to initiate a layer to start building it. So, I build a spreadsheet to calculate the BOM for the upper levels. That helped a lot. Also, some of the floor and wall placements are kind of hard to find but they are there.

But, it is finished! It works! I like the way it looks for the most part. I wil probably add a couple of more floor sections to cover some gears and some half timber wall sections fo finish up the windmill tower.

It works! (Finally.)
This creates a very nice (imo) general purpose mill. But it is not an easy build.

When you are building a blueprint you must have all the resources required for a level in your personal inventory before you will be able to activate the next build level. Unfortunately for larger builds it is difficult to determine what will be required for the level.

What I ended up doing is making a worksheet listing the blocks for the level and detailing the resources for each of them so that I could determine the required items in my personal inventory to initiate the level. That was the hardest part of building this blueprint.

Some wall sections were omitted due to clearance problems.

Glenn52 I was not commenting upon your work as much as stating what I might do to add to it. I feel you have done a great job in creating this blueprint. I thank you for it.

With the latest update of ME I see that the problems I was having with initiating levels was due to a bug that they have now fixed. I definitely retract my "It doesn't work for me (So Far)" title.

This blueprint works great as you have published it and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in having a multipurpose windmill in their village.
