That happens because the Bloodborne skin is probably taking the "W" slot, that's why I cited the slots in the description, because if you already use alot of skins, one or another will be overwriten. I suggest you manually do the change in your files by going:
Program Files(x64 or 86) > Steam > steamapps > workshop > content > 262060 > 924733384 > heroes > highwayman
And rename the "W" in highwayman_W file for another letter, like "E", for example. I suggest E. But it can be any letter, as long as it's not A, B, C, D (vanilla/original) nor V, W, X, Y (this skin's slots).
As for the outlines of the gun and the dagger, that cannot be done, because the FX file is shared among all the skins. Getting rid of it would get rid of the effect on all the other skins. It's stated in the description.
That's the thing with skins. Since the FX (glowing effects) is shared in the files thru all the skins, it's not going to fit every skin out there unless the artists follow the vanilla hero's pose and tools faithfully. Acero likes to make his skins a bit different, hence you'll get effects not fitting his skins 100% of the time.
Take the Raven Fiend Abom and the Mystria Occultist skins for example, they have custom FXs, but their custom FXs end up overwriting the vanilla's. So it rly boils down to either having a perfect skin with matching FXs and unfitting to vanilla and other possible skins or keeping the original FXs fitting to vanilla and some other skins but not fitting a singular one.
I forgot to mention the "modfiles" text file. It's in the mod's folder, in this case, "924733384" right under the "heroes" folder.
Every instance of highwayman_W in that text file has to be replaced accordingly to whatever letter of your choice.
