I'm having the same problem

I'm also having this issue. Game runs fine until I click the forest brush button then the error happens.

I just had the same issue. Initial load was fine, but when I clicked on the forest brush, I received the 'TreeInstance.RenderInstance' error. Will try to unsub and then resub and see if that works. Bad part is, I lost about 3 hours of build on a brand new city that I just lost.

I unsub and resub then reloaded my city and I had the same problem when I clicked on the Forest Brush, so I'm just going to delete the MOD for now.

Forest Brush Revisited v1.3.14, appears to the the most current version of this MOD. I'll try it and see if it works.

I have this issue, I was able to save progress by spamming escape and F1 to autosave

same issue here, tried unsub and resub with no improvement

My forest brush started working again with the updated Forest Brush, but now I'm noticing my prop line tool is creating an error when I go to create a row of trees. I'm going to try to unsub and sub PLT and see if that helps. It may also be the trees I'm using but will start with PLT.

any suggestions to fix?

I'm not sure if the dev's fixed PLT, but as long as I just plop each tree individually I don't have any issues. For the most part I don't have any other issues since I unsub'ed and resub'ed all my MODS.

if it helps, you dont need to close your game, just keep clicking ok and pressing escape at the same time. once u do that you can safely save the game and retry. i am yet to try resubbing
