This mod seemingly doesn't play nice with mods that add ranged weapons.
Not sure if I did something wrong or not, but there were no alerts upon launch so I assumed thing were working as intended. *A note, I made sure the 'weapons require ammo' option was OFF*. Started a Warhammer fantasy playthrough (so, very few guns, and the guns available are pretty primitive) using a decently size selection of mods (most of the Rimhammer mods, empire of man, Dwarfs, Skaven, Orkz, Goblins, Dryads, Fimir factions, magic, prison labor, extended storage, etc), everything seemed to be working as intended, melee fighters were parrying, people using bows were shooting, etc. however eventually I got my hands on an 'Empire crossbow' and watched as my hunter aimed at a creature and... Did nothing, for a whole in-game day until I made them drop the weapon. Went to test a bunch of the other ranged weapons added through these mods, same issue, none of them would fire.
As soon as I disabled the mod to test again, all the weapons that wouldn't work previously began to function as normal. It's unfortunate because I liked the additions to the melee system, but I want nothing to do with the busy work of making ammo for ranged weapons (granted I don't know if the mod with ammo active works either, my guess would be no).

*update*
I've finally seen the *Mod compatibility* section that I managed to gloss over previously. However I know I've seen people play Rimhammer with Combat Extended, unfortunately the only 'patch' I've found simply doesn't work. Oh well
