The relation to those being that chemfuel is a slow burn, which is why it's used as a fuel source, while FSX is explosive.
I don't know if the change of choice of material for manufacturing ammunition really affects the difficulty of Mechanoids. Cuz they seem like a majorly overpowered pain in the @ss enough on average for someone to have made a mod that supposedly makes them easier to deal with. The 81mm artillery is just kinda useless on Mechanoids right now, considering HE shells don't do alot of damage to Mechanoids, even on direct hits, and Incen. shells don't have the napalm like sticking power that molotovs or flamethrowers have, to effectively combat Mechanoids.
In short, if no mod exists to buff the ability of CE artillery, then maybe get the mod to make Mechanoids, supposedly, easier to deal with.
Also, you can't craft 155mm Howitzer shells required for the Heavy Artillery emplacement at the moment, so don't bother building it.
I have found its used to MAKE some weapons... somehow? maybe its used a grease now? idk...
Theres some serious logic flaws in this mod.. BUT the mod its self is very good.
I'm curious if you can use something like simple sidearms to make them use daggers when enemies get too close but i'm yet to test that.
I've decided the only real way to deal with mechanoids with this mod is to use a faction manager to remove the faction completely... which is sad but it really just doesn't seem to be tuned to deal with them. so, sadly i'm going to have to make a new game but this time i'm going to remove the mechanoid faction and i guess just make some more angry pirate factions or something lol
Also the other material that is used in creating incendiary is produced with growing a special plant.
