Artillery Shells Missing? (VFE-Security + CE )
Hey folks. I'm playing a game using Vanilla Furniture Expanded - Security and of course CE. CE is supposed to have a built in patch for VFES but for some reason I don't see any Howitzer artillery shells in the Machining Table menu. I can build the artillery piece, I just don't see any options to build 155mm shells for it. Any ideas?

EDIT: I've even gone into dev mode and tried to spawn some 155mm shells but they aren't listed in any of the item menus, only the smaller mortar shells are. I'm guessing Artillery for CE just isn't implemented yet... Damn.

Its a bug with the disabled Ammunition system, I think.
The 155mm Heavy Artillery Howitzer and its shells are VFES_Artillery_Catapult and VFES_Artillery_Weapon, respectively. This is a problem applies to alot of auto turrets that require manual reloading, which is probably all of them, and other manned weapons, like the AGS-30 automatic grenade launcher emplacement. I've given up on them atm. Anything aside from 81mm Mortar and the 90mm Flak Cannon can't be reloaded without having the Actual ammunition item.
Though, I might be wrong on some points, and this is only what I've figured out on my own.

I am playing with the ammo system disabled, so your theory is probably accurate. Guess I'll just have to suffer in a Howtizerless Rimworld...

Manually installing the CE mod from Github to your mods folder does seem to solve the turret ammo problem. But you still can't manufacture 155mm shells.

@Andross Disabling the ammo system only disables small arms ammo. All of the larger weapons that require "shells" still need their ammo to be manufactured and loaded. The gist of this post is that the shells for the Artillery piece don't exist (i.e., are not capable of being manufactured) when VFES and CE are combined.
