Item Recycling
Suggestions about posible concerns with companions
Basically I had concern with a potential reaction with the default coding of the game with the command feature of the follower function. E Command to pick up stuff to be recycled? That could be a concern with the localization researching for future gaming concerns. That's a huge potential mishap with issues down south. Also, a mercenary to pick up stuff for you? I would suggest implementing a way to pay him back. It may also solve posible hard coding concerns too. Maybe requiring a small fee taken by the follower to hold the item, and give it back to you? Other things other than money may apply to different types of followers, as a sort of a barter system. :EDIT: My apologies for the improper placement this post elsewhere in regards to the author.

No apology necessary. I am glad to see such good feedback. Could you explain your concern in a little more detail? When you mention the mercenary, do you mean that I should add one or that your having compatability issues with a pre-existing one?

I am thinking more along the lines of something that could be implemented in the future. I have spent a long amount of time playing skyrim, and I play at a very high difficulty scale. I play on legendary mode regularly, with Arthmoor's Unofficial Patches, with enhanced combat AI. I still find myself unchallenged as much as I used to. I have Vanilla, Dawnguard and Hearthfire installed, I have been following and playing TES since Morrowind and am a deticated fan to the series. However, I find the Idea dating back to morrowind, which was with the Khajjit Slaves being bound to the Telvanni. Call me a Khajjit friend. :) I feel that the concept of the Item Recycling could be very pivital in posible TES development in the upcoming TES online metagame. I feel that if properly conducted, this concept could be used to fix problems concerning player economy between the evergrowing metablocker of thief, mage, and warrior archetypes. Would you agree?

However, I don't see how what I do can effect the development of other TES games.

That is true. I am a silly one, but I try to promote a good idea well. I was mainly thinking that recycling could be balanced by the fact you could in certain patches in the game order a companion to pick up an indefinte amount of materials and virtually have a walking, unkillable piggy bank following you around may be a bit overpowering. However, I also like the idea of doing what you want with the trophies you take from the people you call, in each player's own Skyrim way "A true enemy of the Dragonborn".

How this would be implemented in TES Online, the game I am much anticipating is not my job, I know. Though, I do think that the two could posibly be linked in some sort of fashion.
