outdated edit: I belive they did not need to eat when I first started the save, not exactly sure however.
2nd edit: It seems like they get hungry very slowly, also useing them in a caravan tells me they have -71 thousand days worth of food, and that 3 simple meals takes it down to -35 thousand. (currently at 102 thousand after about 1.5 days of travel, didn't supply them with any food, so started at -75K)
After actually forming the caravan thne there aren't any problems.
Big update: appears to somehow only really be affecting one pawn, the guy who I had seen eat something. I got him by a refugee event, my female pawn who arrived by visitor event does seem to have the food locked at a lower (44%) state than others (my original 3, which are locked at 80% which I presume is what they spawn with when they come out of the escape pods): Possibly the refugee event pawn had their food low enough so they ate something, which then gave them the ability to get hungry?
Edit 3.5: Saved another skelly from a transport pod, also has hunger. I'm not sure if he got fed while in the medical bed.
There's also a mod conflict with the No water No life mod as skeletons still need water because of said mod
