Idea suggestion: Limit storage, minimum amount.
Some time when you got 2 same type storages, but you don't want this storage to store more than the second storage, then there should be an option to limit this storage.
Ex: I want to build 2 hayloft, one in the freezer to store and one in the barn. I don't want Pawn to put all of the Hay into the barn, making it store more than it should, wasting a lot of hay when it will rot before being consume.

Just put a normal shelf in the barn.

But I still prefer my solution as it have wider use. Just like Factorio.

Okay, that's an interesting use case. I have an idea of how I might implement something like that, but it will take some work.
In the meantime, (and I know it's very much not perfect), consider the trough mod and the Satisfied Storage mod (so pawns don't keep hauling food)
