I added it to mine and it works, in my experience the game struggles a bit to open the road building menu but it neither crashes or breaks my other mods.

Yes, this should be safe to add to a new save, and even relatively harmless to remove once no construction site is active. The little delay when placing a site is due to the mod looking for all nearby settlements, which I haven't been able to improve on yet.

I can't make a construction site for some reason i go into "Rest" mode then click "Construct road" and choose to where i want the road to go but nothing happens
