That's how ultimates mainly work. They're "ultimates" so they take most of your mana.
About the lag, I'll try editing the effect so it doesn't use up as much resources as it does.

Made the particle less laggy (hopefully). It didn't lag for me before and doesn't lag now so I can't really tell if it's better. Test it and tell me please.

There are also other powers that give lag, but not as much as the za warudo (old), they are much milder than they are: The Hand, detonation, firebreat, nebula and intense flamanado

but there is something creating error in the server:
