Looks like the scheme that Assassins creen origins used for their "Ion" suit, (idk if its called that or not though)
Looked up for that, all I got was 'Isu' suit.

Ions have to do with chemistry and physics and movie writers often shove in random words from physics to make sci-fi movies sound super rad so why not here

Why does it matter? Can you give it a rest and stop pestering the creator? The name fits fine. Even if it didn't, it's the creators choice what it's called. And you've had your answer several times. Ion is the name of the series that this cloak and other TennoGen creations are a part of. Maybe Ion was chosen because Ion sounded sci-fi like, maybe it was chosen simply by random. We don't know. So give it a rest Santa Shoob.

The name isnt meant to suit you. Its his work, he can decide what to call it.
