Earth-like Planet:

Burn Time: 30 seconds
Brake Time: 29 seconds

Orbital Altitude: ~43 km (It was a launch pad halfway up a cliff, about 120m from the valley floor)

Tried that, came crashing down from about 3.5 kms of altitude. Doesn't even deploy the sails, I suspect it's the mod itself.

Kelovar, were you using a speed limit script? I had that problem too, without one.

tested this on vanilla setting max speed 99 m/s earth planet 1.0G
Burn Time 6:30sec
Brake Time 10 sec
Orbital Altitude 43km
