Clarifying the install instructions:
These installation instructions are OUT OF DATE! Please consult the readme inside the modification for instructions.

Hello, folks.

Clarifying the instructions here:
1. Download the addon through GitHub, that's how I got mine to work.
2. Extract the FOLDER to your root server and client directory.
3. Go into both folders, go into keys, then copy the key, and copy it into the ROOT FOLDER keys folder. (Root folder being the one with the .exe in it)
4. Set up your launch parameters to include
-mod=DayZ-Sa-Tomato
. In Steam, you can do this by right clicking the game, and manage launch parameters. For your server, you edit your bat, or if run through steam, the exact same as above.
5. BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING! Go into your server, into the Tomato folder, into the config folder, and double click Admins.txt, and from there, go to Steam ID Finder[steamidfinder.com], find yourself and those of your (future) admins, and add the STEAM64 numerical value, one line per admin.
6. Launch your server, and then your game, and you're golden. Press M in-game to open up the menu.

If you have any questions, I'm more than willing to help.

Edit:

Those using a hosting provider should take care NOT to put an @ in front of the modification in the command line manager, even if your hosting provider tells you to. That's not how this mod works.

It doesnt seem to work for me... I think it might be because of my batch file?
start DayZServer_x64.exe -config=server.cfg -port=2302 -noFilePatching -mod=DayZ-SA-Tomato
What do you think?
If you need more info to help me, please ask, Ive been waiting for a mod like this for my server for ages

write in you instructions or change the file.. .if extract the folder, the folders name was @DayZ-SA-Tomato. but it must be DayZ-SA-Tomato. Than you can try launch parameter -mod=DayZ-SA-Tomato.

Ahoy Vin,

Did you extract it anywhere else? How does your root folder structure look like? Did you set up the keys properly?

Are there any clearer instructions? I don't get what I'm doing wrong I have followed every instruction. I don't understand what i'm doing wrong really.

What's the exact issue you're finding?

The mod just isn't laoding honestly, I hit M in my server and nothing happens, I have followed your instructions perfectly and reread them over and over to make sure I didn't miss something. is there a way I can tell if ym server loaded the mod?
Operator 29 Nov, 2018 @ 6:19pm
uh okay i have no idea ...but yeah i got it working. thank you, I think theye is a typo in the instructions it's missing a capital.

Where would it be missing that, so I can edit it?

this couldn't possibly be the problem tho? it's so minor... it's DayZ-Sa-Tomato in the folder and DayZ-SA-Tomato in your guide. the A is lower case.

That is an issue. DayZ searches for exacts.
Operator 29 Nov, 2018 @ 7:00pm
I bet that was my problem. do you know how to add more than one mod to a server?

In a usual format, it'd @mod1;@mod2;@mod3. In this case, it's be -mod=DayZ-Sa-Tomato;@nextmod;@followupmod;@etcmod, if that makes any sense.

EDIT: IT is working!!!! The way the folders are set up below in my post, that is how you do it. But don't forget to do it for both CLIENT AND SERVER.

Can you please just write down the path? What folder are you talking about? There are so many different folders.

Is it supposed to be

steamapps\common\
DayZServer
---addons
---battleye
---dll
---docs
---dta
---keys
------dayz.bikey
------ShnitzelPommes.bikey
---mpmissions
---DayZ-Sa-Tomato
------addons
------Config
------Keys
------$PREFIX$
------$REVISIONS$
------mod.cpp

Cause it ain't working at all for me.

3. Go into both folders, go into keys, then copy the key, and copy it into the ROOT FOLDER keys folder.

My DayZ (client) folder does not have a keys folder.
