There is nothing in the map that can cause NPCs to spawn on their own. Are you certain that you've disabled or uninstalled everything else? Make sure you also restart the game after doing so.

All of those things were done and this is the only map that it happens in. I've never had any problem with it before however. I'm gonna look and check every single file that might be related to the problem.

Does the box with caution stripes in the middle of the map have to do with anything?

The box with caution stripes doesn't contain anything, and only serves to work around a lighting issue with the trees. The 3D skybox doesn't contain anything either, aside from things that are visible to the eye. If that's where the NPCs are spawning, the slowdown is probably caused by the fact that they're attempting to navigate in an area that doesn't have any navigation data.

If this happens even when all other addons are disabled, my only guess is that there's a loose script somewhere in your GMod folder that's doing this. If you can't find it, I recommend that you uninstall the game, delete the entire game folder and then reinstall.

Idk what this map keeps trying to do. Now it's a slightly different problem, when one of my friends place an npc, it gets put in the skybox and randomly resizes itself. Honestly don't know what it is anymore lol. I've tried everything else, including reinstalling. I bet it's got something to do with one of my friends side now, because I can tell he's just trying to spawn an npc normally. However in the beginning, it wasn't him spawning them which was very strange.

The first time this all started, I checked the console to see who spawned it and it said nothing about people spawning npc's, then just recently it was on of my friends spawning as it showed in the console

I realize it might not seem that way when the issue doesn't occur elsewhere, but the map really isn't trying to do anything.

Is this happening in multiplayer mode? In that case, the issue likely lies with the server that you're playing on (especially if it's also happening to your friend). The server is ultimately in charge of everything, regardless of which addons you're using locally and what the map itself does and doesn't do. Any issues that arise from that are entirely beyond my control. Try playing on another server or in singleplayer mode to verify whether it still happens then.

This is very strange thing to say, but I have a belief that there has been a hacker going into my server without any notice in the console or game for a while. After I said my last reply here, I went to play in a different map and all of the sudden we just start dying randomly with no command entered to the console or other action taken. I know this because I’ve been watching my friends side at the same time I was in the map as well. Then right after that there was a bunch of random messages that was coming up on my screen with a bunch of random numbers and letters, and the console only pulled up “command: [text]”. After that I’ve put up extra security measures to make sure that doesn’t happen again. I haven’t seen the npc bug happen anymore ever since, but I’ll let you know if it does happen to come back. So yes, this was on multiplayer

Okay, let's not do this. If y'all would read the thread, you'd see that the OP was referring to the 3D skybox. The background NPCs mod wouldn't be spawning anything there, and the issue has already been resolved anyway.
