Agreed, my thoughts exactly when I first looked it over. Lovely work, just needs a little more weight there, possibly something in gold, for visual weight distribution.

katana don't even have pommels, they have a little butt cap at the end of the hilt called a kashira so it's already more than extravagant enough for me

what if you crowned the hilt with a small glass lotus or whatever that flower design is on the sheath? it's cleary meant to be a part of the weapon for stabbing things fast without unsheathing, but unfortunately we can't do that in game and it looks like a push-pop :(

a tiny glass or metal ornament to balance the straight lines of the grip and blade would look nicer to me

Adding a pommel on a katana just makes it feel unbalanced. Traditionally such weapons have no pommel and I definitely think it looks better without one. The weird ring thing on Nikana prime drives me nuts.

I see your point, but I'd suggest something other than that thin spike, makes it look unbalanced. Even having one of those curving glass pieces like on the tsuba would be good
