This will tie in with my idea how the shields would work, I was thinking since the tardis doesn't have a shield and since dr Matt doesn't want the tardis to be a weapon I thought why not make a balanced system so my idea of how the shield would work is (I commented about the shield thing on another disscussion) the shield would be only able to defend from bullets so there's no thing that protects it from falling damage or crowbars and people can go inside to the shield so it's nocliped basically and when your in the tardis there is another health thing for the shield either it's like the energy shield bar from halo or it's like the health thing where there are numbers any way unlike the tardis's health this shield regerates but only after 5 seconds after it's be shot at will the shield regerate and this ties in with the extrapalator because in an earlier episode a lot of people know already,they use it to generate a shield and since it's like a hoverboard why not have it as a a hoverboard as well there will be a way to chave it from shield generator to hoverboard and same the other way the way you do that is press alt+e on it and in the text thing it will say either shield generator or hoverboard and when it's a shield generator you can press e to hold it and take it and place it under one of the panels on the console and it will active the shield of course there will be a button to active it/deactivate it I will add more info later and the damage thing will work p.s ( the shield doesn't hurt anybody it can go throught players but only the box itself hurts people which it already does and you can extend the shield a bit to protect players or you can have it where it's right on the ship and it only protects the ship
