I posted an idea awhile back and i thought of a different way to do this. The directional pointer could be used to turn the TARDIS. what i mean by this is the way you intend the TARDIS to go, because youd see the spinning world and thats a little hard to fly in. On the camera monitor WITHOUT PRESSEING E ON IT you would see the view of the extierior light and the camera would be showing you the same direction as the directional pointer. The directional pointer if you pressed and HOLD "e" your screen would lock so you could move your mouse while still looking at the directional pointer, if you move your mouse left or right then the directional pointer would turn as much as you move your mouse left or right. (Example if i kept moving my mouse to the left the directional pointer would just keep on spinning) Then just let go of E and your screen would go unlocked. You could make it so the unused pully lever thing could be a toggle to go forward or stop. All youd need to do is add a way to go up and down.

So Ill give you an example of how you would fly it step by step beccause i know that is a little confusing.
Step1 I would turn on flightmode Step2 I would then turn the directional pointer to the direction i wanted to go Step3 I would look at the camera monitor (again just glance at it Not pressing E) to see if anything is in my way or such Step4 I Then would pull the unsed pulley lever step5 if some way was added i would go up or down if needed.
