The Phone! (Request)
From the exterior if you move your crosshair over where the telephone would be popping out of, it would highlight that little area like the way the console controls and buttons do and you could press e on it and the telephone "door" would open and close like so (this was the best footage i could get sorry about the 3D effect):

there would be no use other than we are respecting the fact it exists by adding a way to see it

The phone on the outside retro TARDIS (this version of the TARDIS interior) didn't work, but the one installed on the console did.

Fortunately, this phone IS on the console, if you've seen it.

Just for information:

Coral TARDIS - no phone onboard, had to use cellphones with the Doctor's space-time calling app.

Retro TARDIS - phone included directly on console, exterior phone was never seen.

Neon TARDIS - only the phone on the outside works; the Doctor still may have not patched the telephone unit through the console yet.

Haven't you watch the episode the empty child in that scene where the classic telephone is ringing and the 9th doctor pick up the phone on the outside working

Again, pretty sure it was some sort of telekenises doing that, he said himself "How's it ringing? It's not even real!"
