I think that the TARDIS should be able to remain in the same space without having to use locking down or flight mode. Just letting it sit there like in The Beast Below and in Dinosaurs on a Spaceship. Because, afterall, it is a spaceship so it has to drift in space which would be nice if you were on a spacemap or doing a space rp or just want some relaxing time with the TARDIS.

Agreed. Another ep where the TARDIS is drifting is "The Name of the Doctor" (I think).

I'll try and add some sort of support for space addons so that when you turn off the engine in space you drift rather than fall

It could be a console command.

Do you want the ability to have the engine on and the light flashing, but no moving or stablisation?

Curious, have you tried turning off Gravity for the TARDIS entity to see if you could replicate that effect?

Personally, I wouldn't mind no stabilisation at all... :P Might make my flights a little more interesting...

i agree with techno156

I can't make everything toggleable, I have to make some decisions in stone. old tardis has way too many options
