List of Maps NOT Compatible with the TARDIS
UPDATE: This discussion is now going to be for maps that are NOT compatible with the Tardis, that way users will know what maps not to use it on.


Hello everyone!

Because I absolutely LOVE this addon, and I hate to try and use it on certain maps just to find out it won't work (meaning the interior doesn't load and/or it's just a black screen, etc) I thought it would be a good idea to create a discussion to list all of the maps that are compatible with the TARDIS!

Also something to note: I think one of the factors is how high the skybox goes, as the interior spawns pretty high up - so if you try it on a small map or a map that has a low skybox it most likely won't work.

I will add to the list as I test maps out, but also feel free to add others as well! :steamhappy:

Properly tested maps that are compatible:

gm_los_santos

gm_floatingworlds_3

gm_apophis_v2

gm_area51_rc1

sb_forlorn_sb3_r3

sb_omen_v2

gm_desertmountains

gm_flatgrass_space_elevator

Maps that have not been properly tested due to the game crashing but that I'm pretty sure are compatible:

gm_bigcity

gm_bigcity_night

gm_bigcity_sh

gm_construct

sb_wuwgalaxy_fix

gm_bigcity works, but is a bit buggy, since you can sometimes get the skyscrapers poking into the interior

Yeah, that has happened to me on another map before but I forget which one it is.

Would it perhaps be a better idea to list maps that don't work? I find that list is usually smaller than ones that do - but up to you!

If the interior cannot find space to spawn it will fallback to a flyable only version

You can also just fly the tardis by holding the walk key and pressing e. Doing the same while flying puts you outside the TARDIS

Sorry for the late response! Been busy with work haha.

Sure, I could make another thread for the buggy maps. That way we can keep the buggy maps seperate from the ones that are just not compatible. It sounds like a good idea, I'll do it in a little bit when I get the chance. :steamhappy:
