1) lower the impact of how the "Crimson Curse Only Accessories" feels when you get them to give them to your crimson cursed party members
or
2) make them feel like "another thing I have to deal with the game" kind of feeling.
I feel like number 2 makes more sense.
Crimson curse is just something I always deal with unless I just beat a Courtyard boss -> then I'm free from it for a while.
Sigh... I kinda wish I turned off this whole DLC when I started. @_@;
The actual changes: I'm glad you took the "chance to die when wasting" and removed it. I literally never used the Mantra of Fasting because I don't want my character to just die. That's a plus for me.
Buuuuut giving a "Mantra of FASTING" -> eating food benefits... it kinda feels wrong. I know that the fasting is from the blood - not actually fasting from normal food, but that's just it, it feels kinda off.
Viscount Spices -> if you take away the "Eating food benefits" from this while retaining the "eat double food" is again -> weird. I makes sense as you need to balance the effect out, but is there another way we can look/do this?
Pagan Talisman -> Adding that stress increase doesn't need the qualifier for the blood in inventory. Blood or not, equipping this increases stress by 10%.
I know that the mantra's food bonus would feel off, but I am trying to make it useful for both vampires and non vampires while keeping the same theme. Also no, the +100% food consumed and +100% healing from food do not balance out because the latter has the same effect as doubling the amount of food, while the former only forces you to use 25% more on food check and camps. The only way is limiting it to vampires, like it was with the original trinket.
Yes the stress increase needs the qualifier for the blood because if you are not fighting the Fanatic and you run out of blood you are stuck with a trinket which does nothing but increase stress damage. Sure you can put it in the inventory, but it's wasting a slot.
Thank you for the feedback, it's much appreciated.
I'd like to make the point: Crimson Curse accessories -> players would want to equip them on characters with the crimson curse. On that front, trying to make it useful to characters without the crimson curse is kinda... I dunno. :X
Furthermore, I agree that the Pagan Talisman without the blood in your inventory would become a stress booster on your character or just a wasted inventory slot, but that's the point.
1) It's a reward with a risk. A risk that you can combat by just bringing extra blood, but a risk nonetheless.
2) you can just equip some common trinket you picked up earlier in the dungeon. That way, the trinket "wasted space" is less wasted. I tend to grab eeeeeeeeeverything and then start tossing things out as needed. I do have a mod for more inventory space, but not infinite space. I honestly start tossing out useless accessories first.
If you have any ideas feel free to post them. Thanks for the feedback.
