A good fix for research would be for everyone to be at 1 research slot and have focuses to unlock more up to their standard 1936 starting amount along the way.

I'll jump on the "add tech-mod" bandwagon too :)

OR

make a compatibility patch for the "Road to 56"-mod. Now that would be awesome.
