There are 2 ways of getting rid of the Great Depression national spirit.

Some nations have pathways built in to reduce and eventually eliminate the Great Depression. Other nations that don't have reduction/elimination focus progressions will need to wait for the event that ends the Great Depression in mid to late 1935.
