animals keep wearing my shield belts
i don't even know if it is this mod or animal equipment that is making them pick up the gear, but how do i get them to drop it? there is no drop button.

You can forbid them using the shield belts in the outfit for that animal (in the animal-tab and then similar to human outfits, or switch them to nudist, worst case)
