RimWorld

Children, school and learning
Children inherit random Ideoligion
Is there an option to remove this from happening? It's really frustrating when a child born from parents of the same ideoligion comes out of the womb believing that it should carve it's eyes out because some weirdo staying at the colony for a week does.

It depends on the age and if you use Biotech, there is an option called 'Inherit ideology from parent' under 'Children' but it only works for children that are born older (not newborn 0-2 for humans) otherwise they should not have one from Biotech, it looked OK in a quick test (getting the parents ideo if born at 8 years for example) - it also looked OK without Biotech to me
I apologize. I cannot find any relevant options in the in-game mod settings for 'Children, school and learning'. Maybe it's because I have an older version of the mod?

I do not have Biotech either.

Should this not happen by default or is there something within' the mod settings I can modify? There's a LOT of settings but none of them discuss this specific problem. Thanks for your time, love the mod otherwise! :>
