What Do Pact Rooms Do?
Touching the statues only seems to cause bad things to happen... is it supposed to give you access to the items in the corner of the room? That's never happened for me.

Also, one of the pacts summons a guy that steals items... is he invincible? I've put a crazy amount of damage into him with no luck.

Yeah those statues are shrines that don't really do much but harm. The guy that you can summon is called Prank, you're not supposed to be able to kill him. I did once using Sac Dagger and the room never opened up.
