This thread is ONLY for suggesting system tweaks, quality of life ideas, and possible bug fixes.

Please DO NOT post any ideas of items, enemies, bosses, floors, etc. This mod is big enough as it is:)

The things that have bothered me thus far:

1) The Grill'O Wisps do not produce light. Neither do the Braziers. This was extremely bothersome while I had Curse of the Darkness on.

2) The blue poop coloration doesn't show up on corn poop. It just looks plain awful.

3) Dante should have starting room hints that show you his controls (or playstyle)

4) The Revelations menu should pause the game....Obviously.

I'd like to see Sarah reverted, or revisited again. I really just don't find her new mechanic fun or interesting.

Adding on to the list:

5) The new pots found in the Tomb should drop bone hearts. A nice alternative for blowing them up.

6) The Mirror Bombs shouldn't spawn blue flies. Instead, have it create mirror shock waves in all directions (like NarcissusII's smashing attack)

7) The Forgotten + Ice Tray should synergize with him lobbing ice at enemies like Frost Rider (I suggested this in the last chapter but it didn't happen and I'm sad :steamsad:)

1) That's a bug, we're trying to figure out why this happens.

4) The api does not let us pause the game unfortunately.

6) Mirror bombs does much more than spawn blue flies, try it out.

Can you, please, add an option to disable health scaling for at least main path new bosses?

I honestly think punker has way too much health. I was playing azazal with 20/20 and 9 damage and i was barely doing anything to it. I lost my run with 7 soul hearts and the fight was about 3 minutes of just dodging. The boss has way too much flexibility for the amount of health it has. It is way to hard for even a more mundane run to kill and is truly a run ender. I love the mod but that boss hurts way too much.

I also think when stalagmite drops all the icicles around the edge of the stage makes it too cramped and hard to utilize space to dodge. I feel like making it so he only drops about 5 icicles around the stage would make the fight alot more enjoyable

The tomb has alot of floors that give alot of trouble but im not going to gripe too much since you guys are still testing different things. Catastrophe is my favorite boss not only in Revelations but regular issac as it adds alot of depth and new mechanics. Its a truly great fight. Coffinguts or whatever is however a nightmare to go against and i think he may be on the same level as mega satan. He is such a hellish boss to fight and i think there should be more ways to roll boulders onto him or atleast have the boulders do more damage. He spawns too many guts too. Maybe reduce it down to 1-2 when he spawns them instead of 3.

This is a great mod ive been enjoying, its just some of the boss battles feel a little bit too hard for good run and borderline impossible for a mediocre one

8) Currently I am wondering if it is possible to give charon (my mistake if I misspelled that) items when he is reunited with Dante. So far, I haven't seen a way to do that. Though, if you do add a way to do that (if it doesn't exist already), It could maybe work if you touched the item while the directional lantern is active?

plz check it
u can t get out of room after room just u are blocked in mirror room (that s bed room now)
u can ad item that gives u
1) someting like bonesword of forgetten
2) space bar that give s you bone hearts (like book of revelation soul hearts) or new snow
hearts after dmg u fill room with ice
3) shield that is on your back like Trinity Shield

I agree with the the comment a few up- there should be an option to enable/disable hp scaling as while i do admire it's game balancing ability it makes some fights contrast too much in difficulty with others and its just nice to have more customization options in rev.

also i dont know why but im just not a big fan- i like to calculate my dameg :-)

Is there a way to start dante on the basement? maybe as a tradeoff make it so the shop on basement xl doesn't go to the glacier to prevent double dipping. I just feel that at the moment glacier needs a lot of work to be "fair" and starting on that floor significantly puts me off playing the character at all, dispite him having one of the most interesting kits of any modded character.

You can make Dante start in the basement in the Revelations menu (press C or F1).
