That'[s what happens when you declare war on 3/4 of the world. They only lasted so long in real life because governments, even dictatorships can't go all in on a war instantly.

If every nation that germany/austria had declared war on, had started fighting in that moment germany would have died fast.

If you want a more reasonable war you need to play as germany and only attack russia and france, as that leaves over half the world without a reason to join the war against germany.

Historically Russia had problems mobilizing for war due to its huge size and lousy infrastructure. It's not realistic at all for them to have a highly mobile army in 1914, but that is more of a problem with HOI4's simplistic game mechanics.

yeah it's not the right flag, has a red tint
