Requirements for knocking someone out:

• You must be standing on solid ground.
  
• You must be armed with a pistol or a rifle.
  
• You must be within 2 metres of your target.
  
• Your target must be on foot.

CBA Keybindings:
> Go in-game.
> Press ESC > Options > Controls.
> Configure Addons in the bottom right.
> In the drop-down list find TacSalmon Buttstroke.
> Set your custom key.
(Don't forget to hit OK when you exit. Escaping out of the menu will prevent any changes from being saved)


CBA settings:
> Go in-game
> Press ESC > Options > Addon Options.
> In the drop-down list select TacSalmon Buttstroke.
> Untick any setting you want to disable and hit "OK".
