my essay for you, sorry about the length and all that.. would not fit in steam comment's.
Love the mod.
This doesn't mean I won't take on yoru suggestions, I'm already working on new skills and summons, I'm not an anime fan but I've watched two seasons of Overlord so far, and read some stuff on the wiki about the infamous "Ainz's" skills, so as a respect to the original author and the high demand of the community, I'll try to keep the skills in the same theme as the Overlord abilities.
The plan is to update the mod with new features every other weekend, so hopefully you'll Death Knight and a couple of new spells this weekend.
i wasn't even aware it was based on an anime hah, just thought it was a cool summoner class for necromancer, i suppose i didnt read too much, just downloaded it and judged it via the skills it added. Which in a way i suppose is cool because i don't have to know the origins of the mod yet it still feels like it's own thing, and not just a reference. But i still hold my opinion on the things i have said, and i think that the mod is cool.
I suppose in a selfish way i wanted a summoner necromancer class, assumed that this was the closest that divinity2 has to offer, and offered you some suggestions in the hope that id get the class of my dreams for my next playthrough haha, anyway, keep doing you :). looking forward to the updates.
Something I realized and thought about when I used your mod in last playthrough I was doing, why such high Necromancy requirement for most of the skills? I dont see for any build that you would want anything higher than 3 or 4 Necro, The healing youd get is nice but your minions are indirect dmg so you wouldnt benefit from it and the summons dont benefit your necromancy stat at all
It would be more sense if the requirements were reduced much lower but maybe also require Warfare and/or summoning depending on said specific skill
I hope you will take that into consideration and in the future make according changes to the mod
It would make the mod more viable to use, I understand the immersion reason for it taking only Necromancy but it wouldnt be practical imo
