At the very least can use the AutoLCD's script to get a text display of the same information.
Here is a quick example.
Working {C:Airlock A} light door airvent
This gives you basic airlock component states, which you can use to figure things out when MGSS jams the airlock.
Using the inset button panel works great as follows.
Button 1 Toggle airlock control light.
Button 2 Toggle airlock vent, useful for un jamming the airlock.
