I'm fairly certain it isn't a Warhammer reference; while it may not be an exact copy of Vegeta's armor, it does look similar. The shoulder pads and ammo belt ARE different, however the chest's color is identical to his - also, the armor without the shoulder pads being "correct" may be a reference to Vegeta's armor during the later-section of the Namek Saga, where he dons armor without the shoulder pads.

I personally see it as a mix of the two references. The shoulder plates and ammo belt more resemble a suit of Space Marine power armor while, yes I will heartily agree, that is a Sayian battle chestplate. And the description is obviously a reference to Vegeta, no way in hell I'm questioning that.
