One thing that is missing is the civilian slashers they are something very common for some dead space games (ds2 is one of them)

If the regenerator/hunter/ubermorph were to be added, here's my thought on how that could probably work.

shoot them in their arms and legs, and when all appendages are gone, an animation will play that makes the player think that the Regenerator/Hunter/Ubermorph is dead. But then the corpse will start to seizure, and the limbs will grow back. And the only way to truely get rid of these special necromorphs would be to use an explosive, or fire.
